CEI education is designed to strengthen the clinical capacities that support effective psychotherapy across theoretical orientations, treatment modalities, and practice settings.
Trainings focus on the thinking clinicians use to assess what is happening, formulate the clinical problem, make decisions, and evaluate whether the work is accomplishing its purpose.

Self-Paced Clinical Education
CEI is developing self-paced learning for clinicians who want to work through core clinical capacities in a structured sequence. Self-paced courses are designed to stand on their own while also connecting to CEI’s live trainings, publications, and ongoing clinical inquiry.
Supervisor Development
Clinical supervision is one of the primary places where clinical thinking is developed and transmitted. CEI’s supervisor education focuses on helping supervisors make clinicians’ reasoning visible, strengthen formulation and decision-making, use case discussion more effectively, and recognize where supervision itself may be reinforcing weak clinical habits.
CEI is developing dedicated education for supervisors and clinical leaders alongside its broader clinician training.
Education for Organizations
CEI works with provider organizations, counties, CCBHCs, behavioral-health systems, and training programs to develop education around identified clinical needs. Organizational education can stand alone or become part of broader work in clinical capacity development, supervision, or quality and practice improvement.
