Clinical Essays
The Clinical Effectiveness Institute publishes clinical essays that examine recurring patterns in psychotherapy, therapist positions, and the organization of clinical work. These essays use close clinical observation to clarify how therapeutic processes can become productive, limiting, or misaligned with the purpose of treatment.
The Spectator Therapist: An essay examining the therapist position in which observation and understanding remain active while clinical participation recedes, leaving the client to carry too much of the clinical work.
